AFMC2026: 25th Australasian Fluid Mechanics Conference University of Canterbury Christchurch, New Zealand, December 7-10, 2026

AFMC2026 is the latest in the bi-annual series of conferences run by the Australasian Fluid Mechanics Society. While held in Australia and New Zealand, the conference is open to all nationalities, and attracts high calibre researchers from all over the world.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Abstracts will be reviewed, and if accepted, authors will be invited to submit a full paper and give an oral presentation, or to present a poster.

List of Topics

Fluid Mechanics of any type, including fundamental and applied, experimental, theoretical and computational, in any application area.

Publication

As with previous conference in the series, the peer-reviewed full papers will be published by the Australasian Fluid Mechanics Society.

Venue

The conference will be held in Christchurch (the "Garden City"), New Zealand, from the 7th to the 10th December 2026, in the Southern Hemisphere summer.
