I International Conference on Renewable Energy. El Hierro 2026
It is an honor to welcome you to the first edition of the I International Conference on Renewable Energy (ICRE 2026), which will take place on the unique island of El Hierro from November 10 to 13, 2026.
El Hierro is not only the setting for our conference, but also its protagonist. Known as the “sustainable island,” this small natural jewel is a global benchmark in the energy transition thanks to the Gorona del Viento hydro-wind power plant. Its geographical location, at the westernmost point of Europe, makes it a natural laboratory for innovation. Thanks to its strong commitment to renewable energy, the island has achieved energy self-sufficiency, demonstrating that a sustainable future is not only possible, but already a reality.
During these days, we will explore the advances, challenges, and opportunities in the field of renewable energy, inspired by the pioneering spirit of the island that hosts us. Join us at this unique event to connect with experts, share knowledge, and be part of the transition toward a greener future.
