Venue
As the pioneer in built environment in Malaysia, FABU stands as the traditional home of surveying and architectural education in the nation. The faculty is located within the Johor Bahru campus, which retains the serene atmosphere of a tropical knowledge sanctuary while being situated in close proximity to Iskandar Malaysia—a rapidly developing economic corridor pivotal to Southeast Asia’s construction and real estate sectors.
The faculty grounds house a comprehensive array of educational and research facilities centering around Block B12 and the Dewan Premier Sarawak, which have become landmarks of the university's skyline. Formed through the strategic synergy of the country's earliest built environment schools, FABU today operates as a "Holistic Ecosystem for Sustainable Innovation." Here, the disciplines of Architecture, Planning, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate, Geomatics and Land Administration gather to transmit future-ready solutions to the world, continuing a legacy of excellence that began decades ago.
