The 6th European Workshop on Maritime Systems Resilience and Security (MARESEC 2026) addresses research on resilience, security, and technology, including their ethical, legal, and social dimensions in the maritime domain. Topics include offshore and onshore infrastructures, navigation and shipping, as well as autonomous and sensing systems for maritime safety and security. The workshop will also feature special sessions on emerging research areas and innovative applications for protecting critical maritime infrastructures. The intention of this workshop is to bring together researchers to present new results and ongoing projects as well as to exchange experiences and explore possible collaborations.
Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper (max 4 pages, IEEE format) or an extended abstract (1–2 pages, IEEE format) presenting research findings, project insights, or conceptual work. All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and accepted contributions will be published in the workshop proceedings.
Authors of high-quality contributions will be invited, after the workshop, to submit an extended journal version to the Transactions on Maritime Science (ToMS).
