The conference aims to build an ecosystem for industry, academia, research and students in the field of social media processing, and become a beacon for social media processing in China and even the world.
Founded in 2012, the National Conference on Social Media Processing is held annually (with a one-year hiatus in 2021 due to external reasons) and has become an important academic event in social media processing. The 11th National Conference on Social Media Processing (SMP 2023) is organized by the Social Media Processing Committee of the China Society of Chinese Information Processing and jointly hosted by Anhui University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Hefei University of Technology. The conference will be held in Hefei from November 10th to 12th, 2023. The conference theme is "Social Media in the Era of AIGC" and will feature keynote speeches, special sessions, and poster presentations.
The conference accepts papers in both Chinese and English. Based on the review of the paper, the paper will be published in IEEE Transactions on Big Data, ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Science, ACM Transactions on Recommendation Systems, AI Open and other journals based on quality recommendations.
