Background
The Wuhan International Conference on E-Business (WHICEB) series is an affiliated conference of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), which has been held successfully since 2000, serving as an annual academic conference for improvement and development of global e-business research, academic exchange, and cooperation. The 25th conference will be held in Ningbo, a renowned port city in eastern China’s Yangtze River Delta region. The theme is ‘Navigating the Future: Digital Platforms, Intelligent Technologies, and Sustainable Ecosystems for Global Enterprise’.
The global landscape and competition are now undergoing profound transformations and restructuring. Rapid advancements in digital technologies, particularly emerging intelligent systems like generative AI, are reshaping business ecosystems and competitive paradigms. Simultaneously, sustainable development has become a global consensus and the key to the long-term competitiveness of enterprises. As a hub city for cross-border e-commerce in China, Ningbo city is the bridgehead and frontline for observing, practicing, and leading this round of globalization transformation with digital intelligence and sustainability as the core driving forces.
The WHICEB2026 will be held in Ningbo from May 28 to 31, 2026. Through academic research presentations and session speaking, the conference will explore how digital platforms, AI technologies, and sustainable ecosystems are reshaping global value chains, empowering cross-border innovation, and fostering the business ecosystems of the future. Scholars in e-commerce, information systems, marketing, strategic management, and public management are welcome to participate in the conference and promote interdisciplinary research findings, and share the experience of different countries and regions. English will be the formal language at the conference.
World-class scholars in digital platforms, intelligent technologies, and sustainable ecosystems will be invited to give keynote speeches.
