The main goals of this workshop are to facilitate communication and collaboration of Information Systems (IS) scholars in China and around the globe and to deepen our understanding of the impact of IS and information technologies on individuals, groups, organizations, communities, and societies.
The theme of CSWIM 2023 is “Information Systems for Sustainable Digital Futures.” With the rapid pace of technological development, economic shift, societal movement, and climate change, we seek sustainable digital futures that improve the well-being of the people, the society, and the planet without depleting resources. We encourage IS research that addresses a wide range of topics related to building a more sustainable future through information systems, which include (but are not limited to) using information systems to support economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability. With CSWIM 2023, we hope to bring together IS scholars with various research interests and research approaches, advance the field, and foster collaboration as well as exchange of ideas.
