Sixth Human Resources International Conference 2026 (6th HRIC 2026)

We are excited to announce that the 6th Human Resources International Conference (HRIC) is scheduled to be held at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in India. Previous HRIC conferences were successfully conducted in China, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. We invite academics, practitioners, and students to share their insights, research, and expertise. In an era of emerging technologies, helping employees and leaders navigate the unprecedented technological disruptions has become critical.

The 6^th HRIC thus invites the academic community to contribute to the theme of Sustainable Human Resource Management in the Age of Disruption. In this conference, we aim to redirect the conversations toward disruption in the industry and explore how HRM can be reimagined to equip employees with the right skills and mindset to navigate the major changes dictated by these disruptions. We welcome papers, posters, symposia, and professional development workshop submissions on a range of topics relevant to the conference theme.

Conference Track

The conference tracks include Digital Transformation in HRM; Future of Work and HR; Employee Safety, Well-being and Mental Health; Entrepreneurship and HRM; The HR Role in Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Talent Management and Succession Planning; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); Indigenous Knowledge System and HR, and Poster Presentations.

Timelines

Submissions open and close on 1st May 2025 and 4th August 2025, respectively. The communication of acceptance will be made on 6th October 2025. The last date for early bird registration is 22nd December 2025. The pre-conference workshops will be held on 8th April 2026. The final submission date for the Doctoral Colloquium and Junior Faculty Development Workshop is 4th August 2025.

Doctoral Colloquium and Junior Faculty Development Workshop Submissions

A Doctoral Colloquium and a Junior Faculty Development Workshop, providing both feedback on research endeavors and specific workshops that will be valuable to doctoral students, will also be held. The colloquium/workshop will comprise a feedback session with peers and senior academics, a seminar on a topic of relevance to doctoral students, and an interactive panel session focused on publishing. The final submission date is 4th August 2025.
