About IRSEC'X 2025

The 10th International Renewable & Sustainable Energy Technology & Science Conference (IRSEC’X) will be held from September 30 to October 2, 2025 in Marrakech, Morocco, in synergy with the 5th edition of the World Power‑to‑X Summit (WPTXS25), organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and the aegis of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development.

Organized by IRESEN in partnership with UM6P, MASEN, and Cluster Green H2, IRSEC’X serves as the scientific backbone of the Summit. It will gather researchers, innovators, industry leaders, and decision‑makers to present advances in sustainable energy—from renewable generation, hydrogen production, and derivative fuels to storage, distribution, and diverse end‑uses—while exploring enabling technologies such as CCUS, advanced batteries, AI & smart grids, water management, and policy & regulation.

The “X” in IRSEC’X signifies both the Roman numeral for ten—marking its 10th edition—and the spirit of eXchange, eXperience, and eXpansion. With over 500 participants from more than 50 countries expected, IRSEC’X 2025 offers a premier global forum for advancing sustainable energy innovation, with a special focus on the Power‑to‑X value chain.

Submission Guidelines

• Originality: Submissions must be original and not under review by another journal or conference.

• Categories:

  • Full Papers – original research, technological innovation, experimental results, modeling, or strategic analysis.

  • Posters – ongoing work, early findings, industrial case studies, or conceptual innovations.

• Abstract Format:

  • Title: Uppercase Arial, 16 pt, centered.

  • Text: Arial, 10 pt, single-spaced, justified, 6 pt paragraph spacing.

  • Length: 300–350 words (excluding title, authors, keywords).

  • Structure: Background/Objectives; Methods/Approach; Results/Findings; Conclusion/Impact.

• Figures/Tables:

  • One optional figure or table allowed.

  • Must be clear, high-resolution (≥300 dpi) and fit within one page.

• Keywords: At least five keywords, separated by semicolons.

• Template & Submission:

  • Use the official IRSEC’X 2025 template.

  • Submit via EasyChair (link on conference website).

Publication

Selected high‑quality papers from IRSEC’X 2025 will be invited for publication in peer‑reviewed indexed journals.

A special issue is already open in the Journal of Power Sources (Elsevier, Impact Factor: 7.9 | CiteScore: 14.9 | Q1) on the theme:“Electrochemical Power Systems for the Energy Transition: Batteries, Hydrogen, and Smart Integration.”

Additional special issues will be announced to participants during the conference.
